Office building PepsiCo Mima

Successful completion of the PepsiCo Mima project

In December 2022, we started the construction of the Mima office building and site development for PepsiCo in Veurne, a phased project with the final goal of full completion in March 2025. The project includes 2,000 m² of office space, 700 m² of bicycle shelter, and 5,500 m² of landscaping. Stadsbader was responsible for the demolition of the existing offices (Recydem), the watertight structural shell, the complete interior finishing, as well as the coordination of the technical installations (Deckx EM) for the new office building and the full site development.

A distinctive feature of the building’s front façade is the series of decorative beams that required careful installation. At the bottom are the benches and exposed concrete plinths, in the middle the decorative floor beams, and at the top the roof beams. These decorative elements extend across the office building, the bicycle shelter, and the parking tower, visually binding the site into one cohesive whole. In addition to the entire prefabricated structure, these decorative elements were also fully produced in-house (Van Maercke).

The project has now been completed within the planned timeframe and is fully operational.

This is not the first time Stadsbader has built for PepsiCo: earlier, we constructed the production hall for Europe’s largest Doritos line (2019), as well as the parking tower (2022), also visible in the aerial photo, which was realized by Stadsbader.
