History

The family company Stadsbader was founded in 1946 in Harelbeke. In the meanwhile, the company is directed by second and third generation Désiré Stadsbader and Dominique Valcke.

 

The acquisitions of Deckx AO and Deckx EM in Dessel (2009) and Van Maercke Prefab in Kluisbergen (2014) were a strong expansion of the specialisation segments and a reinforcement of the market position.

 

Today the group is daily active in about 125 construction sites in Belgian and the neighbouring countries.

Stadsbader, as a constructor, strives in the first place to a stable position in the sector of the public and industrial projects, based on a healthy financial structure. Our portfolio covers various domains of the construction sector: road works and infrastructure, industrial and commercial construction projects, civil engineering, demolition works, water treatment, sports infrastructure, synthetic turf surfaces, maintenance services, signage, production of precast concrete and techniques, both for government and private works.

 

With this wide range of activities, Stadsbader can offer the customer a total project with central coordination. Our vertical integration offers many advantages for fast and high-quality custom implementation.

Stadsbader disposes of the following certificates: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ACHILLES, VCA** and VCA-P. This means that our management system is adapted to the needs of the customer and complies with applicable laws and regulations. This is necessary for more and more customers who preferably wish to do business with certified contractors.

 

Our asphalt and concrete plants are BENOR and COPRO certified, which guarantees a high-quality and safe product and production process. For our construction products with CE marking, the corresponding declaration of performance (DoP) can be requested digitally.

 

Stadsbader obtained the internationally acclaimed sustainability certificates BREEAM and LEED for several projects.
