On and off ramps in Aalter open to traffic

On Wednesday 29 April, the new on- and off-ramps were visited by ministers Pieter De Crem and Lydia Peeters, among others. At that time, the final asphalting and finishing works on the ramps had been completed.

On 6 May, the brand-new exit from the E40 towards the coast, which is the final part of the works, was inaugurated. The result: a smoothly functioning interchange that does away with dangerous traffic jams on the exits, safe bicycle infrastructure, a large carpool parking lot and two buffer basins!
