DCA Infra looks to the future: construction sites are up and running, with investments to follow

The integration of DCA Infra and DC Recycling into the Stadsbader Group has now been finalised. Following the approval of the reorganisation plan on 2 June 2026, the share sale agreement was signed on 5 June. This was followed on 6 July by the publication of the competition authorities’ approval, which marked the definitive conclusion of the process. As a result, DCA Infra and DC Recycling are now officially part of the Stadsbader Group, and work can proceed in earnest on the further expansion of both companies within the group.

The past period has been characterised by stability and a fresh start. Today, DCA Infra is keen to demonstrate that the company is once again looking ahead. Teams are active on site, customers and partners can continue to rely on the familiar approach, and internally, work is continuing to secure a sustainable future for the organisation.

DCA Infra retains its own identity and operations within the Stadsbader Group. This approach is intended to ensure that the company’s strengths are preserved, with a focus on its own expertise and existing teams.

In the coming period, the focus will be, amongst other things, on further strengthening the machinery fleet and supporting ongoing projects. In doing so, DCA Infra aims to further consolidate its position as a specialist in infrastructure works. The company is active in public and private projects, ranging from road and sewerage works to landscaping and civil engineering.

This broad scope of operations is also reflected in long-term partnerships with various clients. One of these is Aquafin, for whom DCA Infra is active on various sites.

“DCA is involved in both our larger construction and refurbishment projects for sewage treatment works and in projects in the public domain, where the impact on the surrounding area is often greater. During the takeover, most sites continued to operate without any significant disruption. Thanks to an open dialogue, extra attention was paid where necessary to safety, phasing and minimising disruption. We appreciated that our concerns were taken seriously and acted upon by the project management. Today, the collaboration is once again proceeding as we have come to expect from DCA: professionally and constructively,” says Danny Baeten, Director of Projects at Aquafin.

“We are looking ahead once again. The focus today is primarily on our people, our sites and our projects. We have strong teams and a wealth of expertise. By making targeted investments in equipment and organisation once again, we are creating the conditions to grow further and continue to offer our customers the quality they expect from us,” says Kris Grietens.

At DC Recycling in Grobbendonk, too, the focus is firmly on the future. Recycling operations will continue, and the company will remain active for both external customers and the companies within the Stadsbader Group. In the coming period, the focus here will also be on continuity, further optimisation of operations and targeted investments to further strengthen capacity and efficiency.

According to Dominique Valcke, CEO of the Stadsbader Group, this further expansion fits perfectly with the group’s long-term vision. “DCA Infra and DC Recycling possess a great deal of expertise and craftsmanship. With 235 employees and around twenty projects currently underway, DCA Infra remains a key player in the infrastructure sector. This positive fresh start should now make it clear that the company is moving forward once again: with confidence, with investment and with the ambition to build on the expertise that DCA Infra has developed over recent years.
