E313 is open again!

Over the past few days, Stadsbader has carried out an exceptional bridge operation on the E313 in Deurne. In just five days, two existing bridges were demolished, the rubble cleared away, new bridges moved into position and the necessary finishing works carried out. Thanks to meticulous preparation and flawless execution, the motorway was able to reopen to traffic on schedule.
The new bridges were built entirely alongside the motorway and then moved to their final location during a carefully planned operation. This required a combination of technical expertise, precise planning and strong logistical organisation.
At peak times during the works, up to 150 staff were working simultaneously. In addition, 240 semi-trailers and 30 excavators were deployed to ensure the operation ran smoothly. The four bridge sections, each weighing 2,700 tonnes, were positioned in their final locations with the utmost precision.
Alongside the technical execution, the well-being of our staff was also a key priority. Accommodation was provided near the site, along with on-site catering, so that everyone could work in safe and optimal conditions.
This successful bridge operation demonstrates what is possible when craftsmanship, collaboration and careful planning go hand in hand. A heartfelt thank you to all colleagues and partners who contributed to this impressive project.
