Largest Belgian coffee roaster expands with new hall
At the Beyers Koffie site in Puurs-Sint-Amands, the symbolic first pile of the new buildings was driven into the ground of the brand-new production and storage facility on Thursday 4 March. This happened in the presence of Flemish Minister-President Jan Jambon, Flemish Minister of Economy Hilde Crevits, Koen Van den Heuvel, mayor of Puurs-Sint-Amands, Nicolas A. Tamari, CEO of Sucafina, and Marco Ciaramelli, CEO of Beyers Coffee. RTL was also there and made this report.
The project is not impressively large in area, but it is extremely diverse in execution. In fact, it requires an extra set of skills, many of which we have in-house: demolition and site preparation, infrastructure works, prefabricated assembly with elements delivered from our own prefab factory and finishes specifically for the food sector, with the accompanying specific (high) hygiene requirements.
Under a particularly tight schedule, our team will deliver a new hall by summer break!
