Milestone for the Oosterweel project!

During the night of Wednesday 8 to Thursday 9 May, the new roads/motorways in Zwijndrecht and on the Antwerp Left Bank were officially put into use.

Since 2019, we have been working on the left bank with the various partners of Rinkoniên – Artes Group, CIT Blaton, Mobilis TBI and Stadsbader – to completely renew the motorways and junctions, making them safer and more compact.

All motorway infrastructure to and from Antwerp is now fully completed. This means that the first part of the Antwerp Oosterweel connection have been completed six months earlier than planned.
