Throwback at the Nerdland Festival 2026

Last weekend, the Stadsbader Group attended the Nerdland Festival at Domein Puyenbroeck. Over three sun-drenched days, thousands of visitors immersed themselves in science, technology, innovation and hands-on experiences — exactly the kind of environment where we, too, feel completely at home. The festival is renowned as the largest science festival in the Benelux and once again brought together an impressive mix of shows, interactive experiences and hands-on activities.

Our stand was also bustling with activity throughout the weekend. Young and old alike quickly found their way to our activities and set to work with enthusiasm. The tower crane proved to be a real crowd-pleaser, where visitors could test their precision and steering skills. In addition, both explorers and seasoned experts took part in the quiz with great enthusiasm, resulting in plenty of healthy competition and curiosity.

Another real eye-catcher was, without a doubt, the topographical map of the festival site. Many visitors paused for a moment to explore the site from a different perspective and gain a better understanding of its technical and spatial layout. It was precisely this combination of wonder, interaction and technology that created such a vibrant atmosphere at our stand.

What stands out most is the visitors’ enthusiasm. Despite the warm temperatures, interest remained high and lots of people dropped by to ask questions, take part or simply get to know our world. Nerdland is all about sparking curiosity, discovering things and making technology tangible — values in which Stadsbader Group also strongly believes.

Thank you to everyone who dropped by, played along, took part and helped create the atmosphere. We’re already looking back with great pleasure on a particularly successful weekend full of wonder, interaction and, above all, lots of enthusiastic nerds.
