Triple-lift at Locinox construction site

Our assembly crews often assemble 40-meter trusses, but this time there were some additional challenges at our Locinox site in Waregem.

Because the truss had to be mounted under high-voltage cables - which provided limited clearance - we could not use the usual cranes. The fact that one of the power lines was still in use did not make things easier.

The solution that came up following close consultation with our QHSE, study and assembly services, was to design a lifting yoke. The use of three cranes allowed the truss to be lifted and assembled from a lower point.
