Next milestones in sight for the transformation of the Europa Terminal

Since the first milestone of this ambitious project – the delivery of the first three ASC Modules on 15 July 2024 – the teams of Stadsbader, Stadsbader Contractors and DSG have been working tirelessly on the renovation of the Europa Terminal at Kaai 869 in Antwerp, commissioned by PSA. This project focuses on sustainable technology, reducing the CO₂ footprint per container by more than 50%.

What has been achieved so far?

• 3,500 meters of ASC beams concreted
• 3,000 meters of track installed
• 10 reefer racks built
• 60,000 meters of underground conduits constructed

By the end of this year, two more ASC (Automated Stacking Cranes) modules will be delivered, allowing the container terminal of the future to continue to be built steadily.
